NAR provides TETRA service in Chubu International Airport Centrair

　　Nippon Airport Radio Services Co., Ltd., NAR, and Centrair Information & Communications Network Co., Ltd., CCOM, announced today that they have concluded a contract of transfer business of airport Terrestrial Trunked Radio Service, “airport MCA service” in Chubu International Airport Centrair. NAR will migrate the current radio system in the airport to TETRA system and start the new service on July 1st, 2019.

　　Since 2016, NAR has migrated airport MCA radio systems in Narita International Airport and Naha Airport to TETRA system. The reliability and quality of the TETRA service and the robustness of the wireless terminals are highly evaluated by the customer. Since the damage of airports due to the recent typhoon and the earthquake was serious, the importance of the radio system by dedicated frequency has been increasing for customer’s business continuation. NAR provides the terminals and accessories corresponding to the customers’ operation style and keeps stable system operation to contribute the safety of the airport. Also, NAR continuously improves the radio condition carefully and immediately to increases the convenience of the service.

　　From February 2019 to June 30, 2019, NAR will temporarily lend wireless terminals in the airport as a trial service to current MCA customers and potential customers.
