MESSAGE

　NAR was founded in 1977, one year before Narita International Airport opened, as a wireless service provider specializing in airports. Since then, in accordance with the expansion of the aviation industry and the evolution of radio technology, we have upgraded our systems and improved their usability, and have supported the operations, safety and security of major airports for more than 40 years.

　Our Air to Ground radio service, which connects pilots with ground operation centers, is used by domestic and foreign airlines at eight airports nationwide. In recent years, we have been receiving requests from various airlines for remote connections to accommodate the consolidation and dispersion of their operation management bases, and we provide a one-stop solution that enables wireless communication from a single PC to multiple airports.

　Airport MCA radios, which are used by various organizations on the ground, are an important communication infrastructure not only for the daily operations of the airport, but also as a critical communication system in the event of a disaster. Currently, NAR provides the service by TETRA, an international standard for public safety radio systems, at Narita International Airport, Naha Airport, Central Japan International Airport, and Kansai International Airport. TETRA has been highly evaluated for its quality and reliability, for example, it has recently been used as a major communication tool in airport quarantine operations, which are at the forefront of infectious disease control. TETRA's interconnection function allows it to be connected to smartphones, which airport managers can use while teleworking to monitor operational status and communicate in case of emergency.

　We will continue to contribute to the aviation industry by expanding the airport radio system and networking it to strengthen disaster prevention capabilities in the event of a natural disaster, and by performing our duties as a telecommunications carrier specializing in airports, as well as by providing stable operations and thoughtful customer support.
